Product Review: Maskcara Beauty Restore Makeup Brush Cleaner

I finally had a chance to use and review Restore brush cleanser from Maskcara Beauty. I’ve wanted to get my hands on this stuff since we received confirmation in August that it was for sure coming. I knew one thing – if Cara was releasing a brush cleanser, it was going to be prettt awesome! She has said repeatedly that she doesn’t believe in creating and releasing a product unless it’s better than what’s already on the market. Well, Restore did not disappoint!

The first thing that I loved about it when I opened the box, was the thoughtfulness that went into the way it was shipped. No one likes to get a liquid product in the mail and find that it’s leaked all over. Restore has a spray top, however for shipping purposes the spray top is seperate. There is a sealed protective cover on the bottle opening, covered with a lid and then its furthermore wrapped in plastic so in the event it did get punctured, it would all be contained within the plastic.

It smells incredible. Like, you’ll want to bathe yo’self in the scent… haha! To me it almost smells like a vanilla bean concoction. When you spray, it comes out in a very nice mist. It’s an 8.5 oz bottle and it seems like it will last forever! I use about 4 sprays for each brush head. I spray twice, swirl on a towel, spray twice and swirl until it wipes clean.

Why is Restore something you need?

  • It visibly removes all of the caked on gunk from your brushes.
  • It sanitizes and kills bacteria on your brushes which can cause breakouts, skin irritation and more.
  • It conditions and restores the brush ends leaving them soft and fluffy. Other cleansers can dry out the bristles.
  • It smells amazing!

You can get Restore from my shop HERE. You can get it for $28.00 by clicking Shop/New. Free shipping on orders of $75.00 or more!
