THANKS GORGEOUS!

I had my eyebrows microbladed!

Here I am before the procedure began. I was pretty nervous because I wasn’t totally sure what to expect. I haven’t ever had a tattoo or anything remotely close to this, so I was pretty clueless about pain & discomfort.

These were some of the tools she used besides the tattoo gun type thing that she uses to microblade. First, she put a sticker across my head that has measurments on it. She used that in connection to a ruler to add dots on my face to mark the appropriate places for where my brows should start and stop, where the arch sbould be, etc… Then, she took a brush and drew with the ink on my brows where she thought they should be.  I was able to confirm that I liked how everything looked and then laid down & she went to work.
I had both the owner & an apprentice doing my brows and it was interesting to feel the difference in how they applied the brow strokes. When the woman with more experience did it, I mostly jusy felt pressure. When the apprentice did it, I could feel her gauging my skin and it was pretty painful. Once she let the vibration of the tool guide her vs. her dragging it along,  it felt so much better and she did a great job.

They shaved the unwanted hair away from my brows to fine tune & shape them. I had been growing my brows out forever to have them reshaped and it was such a relief to have them done.

The whole process took about 2.5 hours.

When it was done,  it was hard to tell initially what I thought.  I still had numb brows and I couldn’t tell if I liked the arch or if they were even because I couldn’t tell if I was arching my brows involuntarily. There was a LOT of redness, a little bleeding and it hurt badly if I absent mindedly touched my brows.

Here is an after photo from yesterday.

Here is an after photo from today.

Today there is no pain,  just a little itchy. I’ll have to continue to apply ointment for a while, a few times a day to prevent it from drying out, scabbing or becoming too itchy. I do like them better today now that I can tell they are pretty even. I’m really curious to see how the color will settle.

Keep following along, I’ll be updating over the next 8 weeks. 🙂

Using AP24 toothpaste

Oh gosh.  Forgive these photos. No matter what I did,  I couldn’t get the phone to focus! 😜

I was contacted by a representative with Nuskin and asked if I would be interested in trying this new teeth whitening tooth paste. I have not been paid or coerced to say anything about this product,  only asked to provide my honest opinion and to take before and after photos.
My teeth are very stained from drinking coffee,  tea and wine.  I’ve only ever tried the at home whitening strips when i was probably 18 years old and have never tried a method ever sense because I was scared of tooth sensitivity that I experienced at that time.  I was assured that this toothpaste does not cause that affect,  so that’s what attracted me. Also,  the price tag is very reasonable for tooth whitening that happenings relatively quickly without having to go to the dentist.

The first thing I noticed is that I loved that this container is more like a lotion tube,  vs a tooth paste tube that you have to fold and squeeze the paste out. I like that you can stand the toothpaste bottle on end vs. on it’s side. When I opened the container to smell it, it smelled amazing! Very strong minty scent but in a good way, if that makes sense. It tastes very good and cool in your mouth.

I don’t feel like the photos picked up on it,  but after just one use, I already notice a significant difference in the shade of my teeth.  They felt incredibly clean as well and my breath felt super fresh! I look forward to seeing what a difference the next week will make! 🙂

Easter crafts

I love going to the thrift store and finding great deals on crafts to do with the kids.  I got a giant plastic bin of easter stuff for a couple of bucks.

Product Review: Feet Peel Mask

■Product Review■

▪Product: Feet mask

• Purchased from: Wish App

• Price: $1.00

• Scent: Not bad, it definitely has milky undertones

• Texture: Incredibly slimy, like raw eggs or aloe

• Packaging & Instructions: none of it is in English and I couldn’t find any clear details and instructions online.

So it’s been 2 days since I used the exfoliating peel foot mask that I bought from the Wish app for $1.00. Nothing was in English on the package, but from what I was able to gather from the comments, is that you put it on your feet and leave it on for some period of time…Who knows how long,  I don’t know. 😁 I kept mine on for a few hours, covered in a sock.

My feet feel irritated now, because the idea of the mask is that it dries them out in order for them to peal. Where my cracks are, definitely feel a little painful when I walk. Reviews also said not to put on any lotion for 21 days to give the product a chance to work.  That sounds miserable at this point. I plan on giving this a week to work and see how I feel then.

Right now, I would not recommend this product.  Especially not to anyone who has severely cracked feet like I do. I’ll update more in a few days. 🙂
